A closer look

A serious RAW workflow, finally at home on iPad.

For years, the iPad sat in a strange place for working photographers: a screen good enough for real review, a chassis portable enough for the field, and yet no software that took advantage of either. Priime RAW was built to close that gap. It's a complete, non-destructive RAW pipeline designed for the iPad as its primary surface — not a port, not a companion, not a thinned-down sibling of a desktop product.

Why RAW matters here.

A RAW file carries more highlight detail, more shadow recovery, and more color latitude than any baked JPEG ever will. On iPad, with a Pro Display calibrated for wide gamut, that latitude is finally something you can see and judge. Priime RAW reads files from every major camera manufacturer and processes them in 16-bit float color, so the changes you make on the road match what you'd see on a desktop display.

The Pencil makes the difference.

Local adjustments — brushed-in dodge and burn, gradient masks, color targeting — have historically been the awkward part of mobile editing. With Apple Pencil hover and pressure on M-series iPads, masking finally feels precise. A two-finger pinch to zoom, the Pencil to brush, a tap to refine: the kind of detail work that used to require a desk now fits into a coffee shop.

From import to delivery.

Plug a camera in directly over USB-C; Priime RAW pulls files at the speed your cable allows, no detour through Photos. Cull with arrow keys on a Magic Keyboard. Star, flag, color label. Move into a develop session, work through the catalog at your own pace, and export — JPEG, HEIC, TIFF (16-bit), or original RAW with sidecar — to a folder, a service, or AirDrop. Everything is reversible until you say otherwise.

Who it's for.

Working photographers who travel and want to deliver fast. Enthusiasts who shoot RAW and finally want an editor that respects their files. Anyone whose desk is sometimes an airplane tray table.
